Andy Sax is a professional saxophonist available for all types of events in Liverpool including weddings, Asian and Indian weddings, private parties, bars, clubs and festivals. Andy is most often booked to play his sax with DJs and backing tracks.

Liverpool has often been Andy’s second home. Andy was resident saxophonist at Playground when it first opened in December 2011 until he left in July 2013. Situated at Hilton City Centre in between Liverpool ONE and the Museum of Liverpool, this exclusive private members club was Liverpool’s number one destination for many pro footballers, TV faces and musicians.
Private club bookings for footballers included Steven Gerrard’s 15 years at Liverpool F.C. celebrations and parties for Royston Drenthe who was playing for Everton at the time. Royston also booked Andy for one of his private house parties and arranged for him to perform at the former The VIP Room nightclub in Rotterdam’s Cool District with DJ Leroy Styles.
Andy has also been a regular saxophone player at many other Liverpool clubs and venues including Kingdom on Harrington Street, Revolution on St. Peters Square and the old Newz Bar on Water Street.
Andy occasionally performs with John Kelly, a pioneer in dance music and one of Liverpool’s most celebrated house music DJs. Andy and John have played sets together many times, Liverpool venues include the Titanic Hotel and Aintree Racecourse.
Andy has also performed at Liverpool University Student’s Guild with Plan B and at Liverpool Sound City Festival 2016 with his former reggae band 1EYE.
