Andy Sax is a professional saxophonist available for all types of events in Manchester including weddings, Asian and Indian weddings, private parties, bars, clubs and festivals. Andy is most often booked to play his sax with DJs and backing tracks.

Manchester has also often been second home for Andy having been resident at many well-known clubs in the city, DJ and sax in Manchester has proved to be a popular combination for many years. Andy was a regular at the old Sugar Lounge and Loaf clubs on Deansgate Locks near Deansgate Train Station, Sugar Lounge was popular amongst footballers and well-known Manchester faces.

Andy also regularly played at Twisted Elegance at the old Ampersand club on Deansgate, another popular decadent hotspot from days gone by. A performance at the former Sound Control on New Wakefield Street can also be added to that list with classic Manchester house music DJs David Dunne and Andy Daniels, Andy’s friend and colleague Pav was also playing percussion.

Larger venues include O2 Apollo with Plan B, and The Lowry theatre situated at the heart of The Quays in Salford with Andy’s salsa band Del Camino. Andy was saxophone player at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre on Trafford Park for large dance music events including Insanity and History of House Music.

Nowadays Andy is back in the Deansgate area and often plays at Dirty Martini on Peter Street.
