Andy often gets booked to play saxophone along to his backing track accompaniment for a drinks reception, during a wedding breakfast, or for just simply setting off the right atmosphere in a restaurant, bar or club. All of his backing tracks are of the highest quality and mostly sound just like the original recordings.

How long will Andy play for?

Andy will often play just one straight set between 30-60 minutes long, but some people want an extended performance which is where Andy can offer up to two 45-minute sets with a 30-minute playlist break in between.

Does Andy provide his own equipment?

Andy can provide 2 speakers (suitable for up to 200 guests) to amplify his backing tracks along with all the rest of the necessary equipment needed for his performance including a radio microphone, mixer and cables.

Can Andy provide playlists when not performing?

Andy has some great playlists on his iPhone that he can play before and after (and in between) his set(s) for continuity and to keep the right mood and energy flowing.

Sax and backing tracks for restaurants and hotels

Andy has been hired to play saxophone with his backing tracks all over the world. He recently performed at Cornelius & Cylinder in Belgrade, Serbia January 2020. Check out these two clips starting with the classic Give Me The Night by George Benson…

Andy was also booked to play for a 4-week residency at Shearwater Café in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe during September 2017. He was entertaining international thrill seekers and safari goers at one of the main live music venues in the town. He played two 45-minute sets, 5 nights a week at Shearwater which is also one of the most popular restaurants in Victoria Falls.

Sax and backing tracks for weddings

Andy performed for a wedding reception weekend at Domaine De Fontenille, Lauris in the Provence region of France. He played sax for a drinks reception on the day of the wedding and also for a BBQ pool party on the day after.

Sax and backing tracks as live entertainment

Andy’s backing tracks are not only suitable for drinks receptions and eateries but work well as part of an evening of live entertainment. Andy played sax along to his backing tracks for a Lemar support slot at Grand Station in Wolverhampton.

Naturally, Andy took it up a gear on this booking and switched into more of an upbeat pop, soul and R&B saxophone player. Andy is a saxophone player for hire who is suitable for most genres and occasions.
